Using the Traffic Features on the KSL.com News App

How to access real-time conditions for your commute.

Before you hit the road, take a quick look at how long it will take to get from point A to point B and get a bird’s-eye view from one of UDOT’s overhead CommuterLink cameras — all in the KSL.com News app.

Travel Times

1. Open the KSL.com News app on your iOS device.(Traffic features are not currently available for Android.
2. Tap the Sections hamburger menu at the bottom of the screen.
3. From the Traffic section, tap Travel Times.
4. Look at the list of major intersections and roadways in Utah.
   
   • Green times indicate normal conditions.
   • Red times indicate a delay of some sort.

5. For additional times, tap on the road sign that impacts your commute.

Cameras

1. Open the KSL.com News app on your iOS device. (Traffic features are not currently available for Android.)
2. Tap the Sections hamburger menu at the bottom of the screen.
3. From the Traffic section, tap Cameras.
4. Tap the address in the direction section you are interested in to see a photo of current conditions from CommuterLink.
