Ready to sell your home? You can create a Homes for Sale listing in the KSL Classifieds app or on the KSL website. Follow the steps for whichever one you're using.
If you're an agent or broker: Listings posted by or on behalf of a realtor or broker must include the name of the realtor or broker listing the property, plus any applicable MLS numbers. Realtors and brokers must also include their dealer number, as required by law. Duplicate listings aren't allowed, and any listing that doesn't belong to the listing agent (as determined by the Utah MLS) will be removed.
In the app
Open the KSL Classifieds app on your mobile device.
Select the + Add Listing icon in the middle of the bottom menu.
Select Homes.
Select For Sale.
Fill out the required information and any optional information you'd like to include.
Accept the Terms and Conditions, then select Activate.
Choose any upgrades you'd like and the dates you want them applied. For details on each option, see Optional upgrades below.
Select Activate.
On the web
In the top navigation, find the Marketplace section, hover over Classifieds, then click Homes.
Select List a Home.
Select For Sale.
Select the option that fits you:
- For Sale by Agent
- For Sale by Owner
Add your home's details
Fill out the required information, plus any optional details you'd like to include:
- Address: Enter the property's address, then check the pin on the map. If it's not quite in the right spot, drag the map to adjust it, then select Done.
- Asking Price: Use numbers only.
- Description: Tell buyers about the home and point out the details they'll want to know. You can use up to 5,000 characters.
- Property Details: This is where buyers get the full picture. Describe it as accurately as you can.
Upload photos
Buyers love clear photos, so make sure to include the exterior, the main living areas, and anything that makes your home special.
Review and submit.
Look over your information, accept the Terms and Conditions, then select Activate.
Not ready to post yet? Click Save for Later to save your listing without activating it. Saving is free.
Choose upgrades and pay
The Optional Upgrades window walks you through one step at a time. The progress bar at the top shows where you are: Listing, Featured, Boost, Ribbon, and Payment.
On each upgrade screen, select Yes to add it or No to skip it. If you add an upgrade, choose the dates you want it applied. Need to change an earlier choice? Select Back.
On the Payment step, check your Shopping Cart:
- Select Edit next to an upgrade to change it.
- Select the trash can icon to remove an upgrade.
- Your Total Charges appear at the bottom of the window.
Select Activate or Pay Now.
Optional upgrades
These upgrades are available in both the app and on the web. You'll see the current price on each upgrade screen before you decide.
Renew: Extends your listing's expiration date by another 30 days.
Featured: Puts your listing in a Featured spot in search results for an entire day. Featured spots rotate, so your listing may show up in a different position each time someone searches.
Boost: Moves your listing back to the top of relevant search results, just like when you first posted it. It'll move down the page as new listings are posted. A Boost doesn't renew your listing or change its expiration date.
Ribbon: Adds an eye-catching banner to your listing to help it stand out on the search results page.
