A few tips as you go

Most fields don't need explaining, but a few have details worth knowing.

Asking Price. Enter numbers only, and we'll take care of the formatting.

Description. You've got up to 5,000 characters, but longer isn't always better. You know your home best. A clear, carefully edited description that points out what makes it stand out gives buyers a reason to look closer.

Custom Ribbon. Once you've bought a ribbon, it stays for the life of the listing. You can change the message as often as you like at no extra cost. Dropped your price or have something new to share? Your ribbon is a quick way to tell buyers. Keep it to 20 characters, like "20% price drop" or "Brand new."

Photos. On the web, drag photos into the upload area or click it to choose them from your device. In the app, tap the camera icon with the plus sign, then choose your photos.

Photo descriptions. Help buyers understand what they're looking at. Keep each one to 200 characters or fewer. Clear photos of the outside, main living areas, and standout features help buyers picture themselves in the home.

Photo too large? Select How to resize your images in the upload area to see the steps.

Save your changes

When everything looks the way you want, select Accept Terms and Conditions, then select Save. Your changes show up on your listing right away.

Good to know

  • Editing is free. Changes to your listing don't cost anything.
  • Your listing keeps its place. Editing won't move your listing in search results or change its expiration date. Want to move it back toward the top? Use a Boost.

Mark as sold

Found a buyer? Congratulations! Select Mark As Sold to remove your listing from search results.

Your listing stays on your account until you delete it or it expires. Need to put it back on the market? Open the menu and select Activate. It replaces Mark As Sold after a listing is sold.

Renew

Listings are active for 30 days. To keep yours up longer, open the menu on KSL.com and select Renew.

Upgrade

Want more people to see your listing? Boosts, Feature Days, and custom ribbons are covered in How to upgrade a KSL Homes listing.

Delete

Select Delete to remove the listing from your account.

Deleting can't be undone, and any remaining Feature Days or ribbon goes with it. If you might want the listing back, use Mark As Sold instead.
