How to Create a For Rent Listing on KSL Classifieds

   Open the app on your mobile device.

   Tap Add Listing in the bottom navigation bar.

   Tap For Rent under Classifieds.

   Add photos or a video to your listing.

   List It in Seconds

   After adding your photos, you can use List It in Seconds to let AI generate your listing details automatically based on your photos. The toggle is on by default.

   You can review and edit the AI-generated details before activating your listing. By posting, you take full responsibility for the accuracy of your listing.

   Fill out the listing form. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*) and include Title, Description, Category, Subcategory, Condition, Price, Price Option, and Contact Methods.

   For Rent listing options

   • Price Option — choose Per Hour, Per Day, Per Week, or Per Month to match your rental terms.
   • Payment Types Accepted — select the payment methods you accept. Options include Cash, Check, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, Zelle, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
   • Set Some Rules — tap Edit to add rental-specific rules for your listing.
   Scam Alert: You'll see a Scam Alert box on the form with tips about avoiding common scams. It's worth a quick read, especially if this is your first listing.

   When your listing is ready, tap Activate Listing.
   Not ready to publish yet? Tap Save Draft to save your progress and come back later.

   On KSL.com, click or tap Classifieds in the Marketplace section of the top navigation, then click or tap Add Listing.

   From the Add Listing panel, click or tap Classifieds.

   At the top of the form, click or tap For Rent from the Listing Type options. Do this before filling out the rest of the form, since it changes which fields appear.

   Fill out the listing form. The form is organized into four steps on a single page. Required fields are marked with an asterisk (*).

   Step 1 — Media

   Add photos and video (60 sec max, 500MB max). Click and drag photos to reorder.

   Let AI Fill In the Details of Your Listing

   After uploading your photos, click Use AI to Generate Details to let AI fill in your listing information based on your first few photos. You can review and edit AI suggestions before activating. This feature is optional — you can skip it and fill in the details manually.

   Step 2 — Details

   Enter your Title, Description, Category & Subcategory (combined searchable dropdown), Price, Price Option, Payment Types, Condition, YouTube URL (optional), and Seller Type (Private or Business). Some categories also show a Specifications section with additional fields.

   • Price Option — choose Per Hour, Per Day, Per Week, or Per Month to match your rental terms.
   • Payment Types — select the payment methods you accept.

   Step 3 — Rules

   Set rental rules for your listing. Toggle pre-built options on or off:

   • Free delivery within a 5-mile radius
   • Must be returned in the same condition as it was rented
   • No late returns
   • Must be cleaned before returning

   You can also add up to 6 custom rules of your own.

   Step 4 — Contact

   Choose your contact methods (Messages, Text, Phone, and Email — select all that apply) and confirm your contact information. KSL recommends using Messages if you have concerns about privacy or potential fraud.

   Scam Alert: You'll see a Scam Alert box near the bottom of the form with tips about avoiding common scams.

   When your listing is ready, click or tap Activate.
   Not ready to publish yet? Click or tap Save For Later to come back later.
