Check your local forecast
View current temperatures and a detailed forecast for your area.
iOS
- Open the KSL.com News app.
- Tap the weather icon in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap City in the upper-right corner, then select your location.
- Tap Latest Forecast for a detailed forecast.
- Scroll down to see the hourly forecast and weather details.
Weather details include air pressure, humidity, wind speed, precipitation, sunrise and sunset, and moon phase.
Android
- Open the KSL.com News app.
- Tap the weather icon in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the city name, choose a location, and view the current temperature and seven-day forecast.
- Directly below the forecast, check the daily air quality index, shown with a colored dot.
- Scroll down for a detailed forecast and more weather information.
Details include humidity, dew point, air pressure, wind direction and speed, sunrise and sunset, UV index, and moon phase.

The Weather section includes current conditions, reports, tools, and alerts from across Utah.

What you will find
- Air Quality Index: View county-level air quality information and air quality station locations.
- Current Conditions: Check temperatures, humidity, and wind speed for cities in Utah and nearby areas.
- Microcast: Enter a city, state, or ZIP code to view conditions for that location.
- Photo Contest/Gallery: Submit a landscape photo for a chance to win a KSL Prize Pack, or browse past winners.
- River Flow Tracker: Check water levels for creeks, rivers, and reservoirs.
- Ski Report: See snow base levels, open runs, events, and a three-day forecast for Utah ski resorts.
- Snow Pack Totals: View current snowpack totals across the state. Tap an area for more details.
- VORTEX Radar: Track storms moving across the state in real time.
- Weather Cameras: Choose northern or southern Utah to view current images from weather cameras in that area.
- Weather Alerts: See active weather alerts for your selected area.

- Tap the Weather Section button below the forecast.
