How Can I Create a Saved Search?

Have you ever wanted to get a notification when new listings are posted for items you're interested in? This article will guide you through creating a saved searches and setting up alerts using both the website and the KSL classifieds app.

To create a saved search on the app, follow these steps:

  1. From the home page click the hamburger icon (3 lines) at the top left-hand corner of the home screen

  2. Click Saved Search

  3. Select the vertical you want to create a saved search for (General, Cars, Homes or Jobs)

  4. Click Create New Saved Search

  5. Fill out the prompts and information requests

  6. Click Save

  7. On the saved search page toggle the Alerts button until highlighted green and select Alert Frequency (You can also toggle the Add to Home Screen to have this saved search appear on your app home screen)

You are done! Create as many saved searches and alerts as you'd like, there's no limit!


To create a saved search and alert on the website, follow these steps:

  1. Open KSL.com in your browser window.

  2. Hover over the account icon on the right side of the header.
    A checkmark appears on the icon if you are already logged in. If not, click the blue sign in button and enter your email and password

  3. Click Saved Search

  4. Select the Vertical that you would like to create your saved search in (Cars Classifieds, Jobs, Homes)

  5. Click New Search in the top right corner of the screen

  6. Again select the Vertical that you would like to create your saved search in (Cars Classifieds, Jobs, Homes)

  7. Fill out the prompts and information requests

  8. Click Save

  9. On the saved search page, toggle the Alerts button until highlighted green and choose a Frequency

You are done! Create as many saved searches and alerts as you'd like, there's no limit!
